02/06/2014 THE PROTECTION OF LEASEHOLD LAW ONLY WORK IF WE ACT COLLECTIVELY
At present a Residents' Association can only be set up when 50 per cent of the residents ask to be recognised by their freeholder. This is a very difficult target to achieve, especially in blocks where so many of the leasehold owners are not owner-occupiers.
